At Reign Beauty Collective in Tampa, bridal hair and airbrush makeup with a natural lash is $180 for the bride and $160 for each bridal party or family member. Makeup only is $105 or $95, and hair only is $100 or $90. Add the people in your party, any add-ons and your tip, and that gives you a realistic planning total before travel, a trial and tax.

How the wedding hair and makeup cost calculator works
The math is simple on purpose. Each person you add is matched to one service on our price list, and the calculator multiplies the number of people by that service’s price. Add-ons such as glam lash upgrades, tattoo or scar coverage, hair extensions added into a style and extra touch-up hours are added the same way. The total is the sum of every line, and the per-person average is that total divided by the number of people getting a service.
Some add-ons on our price list start at a price rather than having one fixed price, because the work depends on what you need. Tattoo coverage for a small wrist tattoo isn’t the same job as covering a large shoulder piece. When you add one of those, the total shows a plus sign, which means the real number could land a little higher once we see the details. Here are the exact rates the calculator uses:
| Who | Service | Price per person |
|---|---|---|
| Bride | Hair and airbrush makeup plus natural lash | $180 |
| Bride | Makeup only plus natural lash | $105 |
| Bride | Hair only | $100 |
| Bridal party or family | Hair and airbrush makeup plus natural lash | $160 |
| Bridal party or family | Makeup only plus natural lash | $95 |
| Bridal party or family | Hair only | $90 |
| Junior bridesmaid | Hair and light makeup, ages 8 to 13 (junior bridesmaids) | $100 |
| Flower girl | Hair and very light makeup, under 6 (flower girl) | $70 |
| Bride | Bride-only hair and makeup plus lash, when the booking does not meet the package minimum | $220 |
| Add-on | Glam lash upgrade | from $20 |
| Add-on | Tattoo or scar coverage | from $25 |
| Add-on | Hair extension installation into the style | $25 |
| Add-on | Second look or extra touch-ups after the timeline (per hour) | $100 |
One rule needs a little extra explanation. When the bride books hair and makeup with nobody else in the party, the booking can fall under our package minimum, and the price list shows a bride-only rate of $220 for that case. The calculator shows that line as $180 to $220 so you see both possibilities instead of a number that might change later. A tip is never added to our prices. If you type in a percentage, it appears on its own line so your service total stays clean.
What drives the cost of wedding hair and makeup in Tampa Bay
The biggest factor is simply how many people are getting ready with you. Each bridesmaid, mom or grandmother adds a full service, so a party of eight costs roughly four times as much as a party of two. That sounds obvious, but it’s the part most couples underestimate, because the bride’s own price is usually the first number they hear and the party gets added later.
The second factor is which services each person chooses. Plenty of bridal parties mix and match, with some people booking hair and makeup, some booking makeup only because they love doing their own hair, and a few booking hair only. Mixing services is completely normal and it’s one of the easiest ways to shape your total without changing the look of your photos. The calculator lets you split each group across all three services for exactly that reason.
The third factor is the extras. Glam lashes, tattoo coverage, extensions added into a style and a stylist staying later for touch-ups are all optional, and each one has its own line so you can see what it adds. Here in Tampa, heat and humidity are real, and many brides with long receptions find that an hour of touch-up time is worth more to them than another extra, but that’s a personal call.

What our prices include and what they don’t
Every hair and makeup service and every makeup-only service includes a natural strip lash, and you choose between airbrush and traditional foundation at no extra charge. If you’re curious about the difference, our guide to what airbrush makeup is walks through how each one wears on a long wedding day.
Some costs depend on details the calculator can’t know, so they’re listed as not included. Trial sessions are priced separately, and you can read about our hair and makeup trial run before you decide. Travel depends on where you’re getting ready, early start fees depend on how early your day begins, and sales tax depends on the services and location. We confirm all of these in writing once we know your date and venue, which is also when your estimate turns into a real quote.
How to read your estimate
Read the total as a planning number. If it shows a single figure, every line came from a fixed price on our list. If it shows a range, it’s because of the bride-only minimum. If it ends with a plus sign, at least one add-on starts at a price and could come in higher. The per-person average is handy when you’re deciding whether to cover the bridal party yourself or ask everyone to pay for their own service, and the itemized table shows exactly where the money goes if you want to trim anything.
Print it or save it as a PDF to bring to a planning meeting, copy the link to share it with your partner or maid of honor, or press the quote button to open an email to us with your selections already filled in. The email opens in your own email app, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
Budgeting mistakes we see with wedding hair and makeup
The most common mistake is budgeting for the bride and forgetting the bridal party until the last month. The second is assuming everyone wants the same service. Ask your bridesmaids early what they’d like, because a couple of makeup-only bookings can change the total more than any add-on.
Another easy one to miss is the trial. Most brides want one, and it’s priced separately, so set some money aside for it even before you book. Tips also catch people off guard. Many couples plan for somewhere around 15 to 20 percent for each artist, which is in line with common wedding tipping guidance, and it’s easier to plan for it now than to scramble on the morning of the wedding. Finally, don’t forget the people who are easy to overlook, like a grandmother, a stepmom or a junior bridesmaid who would love to be included.
What a wedding hair and makeup cost calculator can’t tell you
A calculator only knows what you type into it. It can’t see your hair length and thickness, the style you have in mind, how early your photos start or how far your venue is from us, and all of those things shape the final quote. It also doesn’t know our calendar. Popular Saturdays in spring and fall book up early, so the most useful next step after running your numbers is to check your date.
Use this as a starting point, and then let us fill in the rest. If you’d like to see the looks behind these prices, our hair and makeup portfolio shows real work from our team.

Frequently asked questions
Is this calculator accurate, or is it just a ballpark?
It uses the exact prices on our price list, so the service lines are real numbers rather than a ballpark. What it can’t include is travel, a trial, early start fees and tax, which is why we call it an estimate and confirm the final quote in writing.
Why does the bride’s price show as $180 to $220 when nobody else is booked?
Our price list includes a bride-only rate of $220 for bookings that don’t meet the package minimum. Once anyone else in your party books a service, the bride’s hair and makeup is the regular $180, so the range closes as soon as you add people.
Do my bridesmaids have to get both hair and makeup?
Not at all, and plenty of parties mix services. Each person can choose hair and makeup, makeup only or hair only, and the calculator lets you split every group across all three.
Is airbrush makeup extra?
No, you choose between airbrush and traditional foundation at no extra charge. Many brides pick airbrush for long, humid Tampa days, but traditional foundation is a lovely choice too, and your artist can talk through which suits your skin.
How much should I tip my hair and makeup artists?
Many couples plan for around 15 to 20 percent for each artist, and tipping is always your choice. Type a percentage into the calculator and it appears as its own line, separate from the service total.
